Come discover Tuscany’s storybook side. Meet your shared excursion at Piazzale Montelungo for the scheduled sample 8:45 a.m. departure. See the medieval walls of Monteriggioni, enjoy Siena’s handsome squares and historic setting, and wander among the towers of San Gimignano. Then the day turns delicious: at a Chianti estate, discover regional winemaking and enjoy included wine and olive-oil tastings with local snacks before returning to Florence.

There is more to Florence than its famous skyline, and today you will hear some of the stories behind the stones. Join an approximately 2½-hour shared walking experience with prepared historical audio commentary and an accompanying tour leader. Today Tuscany gives way to the Italian Riviera. Make your way to Piazzale Montelungo for the scheduled sample 7:00 a.m. shared excursion. Discover the pastel lanes of Manarola, the harbor beauty of Vernazza, the beachside charm of Monterosso and Riomaggiore’s colorful waterfront. Travel by coach with train and/or boat segments as operated, enjoying time to wander and savor those unforgettable sea views. The route and boat service may change with conditions.

Set out on a final Tuscan adventure. Meet the shared tour at Piazzale Montelungo for the scheduled sample 9:00 a.m. start. In Pisa, admire the Leaning Tower from the outside and explore the remarkable Piazza dei Miracoli; Cathedral admission is included when access permits. Continue to Lucca, where Renaissance walls, elegant squares and atmospheric streets create a wonderfully relaxed farewell to Tuscany.

After breakfast, check out of your Florence hotel. Travelers who added and confirmed the $99 round-trip arranged airport transfer for two will have their return hotel-to-FLR ride scheduled in advance; otherwise, continue independently to the airport for your homeward flight. Leave with beautiful photographs, a taste for Chianti and plenty of reasons to return.

Travel to Florence is independently arranged unless a separate flight-inclusive option is expressly offered. For a smoother arrival and farewell, you can select our optional Arranged round-trip transfer between Florence Airport (FLR) and your assigned hotel — $99 per booking for two travelers. Select it once for your two-person booking, not once per person. Provide your arrival and departure flight details so pickup and return arrangements can be confirmed before travel.
