Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, you’ll be greeted by our representative, who will assist with customs formalities and escort you to your hotel in a private, air‑conditioned vehicle. After check‑in, take some time to rest from the flight or stroll around the neighborhood to soak up the ambience of modern Cairo.

Pyramids of Giza, Saqqara & Memphis

After breakfast, set out with your private guide to explore Egypt’s ancient wonders:

• Giza Plateau: Stand in awe before the mighty pyramids. The Great Pyramid of Khufu, built around 4,600 years ago, rose nearly 480 feet and remained the tallest structure on Earth for millennia. Nearby, Khafre’s pyramid and Menkaure’s smaller pyramid complete the trio, watched over by the enigmatic Sphinx. You’ll also visit the Valley Temple where ancient embalmers performed mummification rituals.
• Saqqara: Travel south to see the Step Pyramid of Djoser at Saqqara. Built around 2630 BCE for Pharaoh Djoser by his architect Imhotep, this six‑tiered monument was the first major stone structure ever built and marked a revolutionary shift in pyramid design.
• Memphis: Conclude the day at Memphis, Egypt’s first capital. In the open‑air museum, admire the colossal limestone statue of Ramses II, almost 10 meters long, which was discovered in the 19th century.

Grand Egyptian Museum, Cairo Citadel & Khan Al‑Khalili

After breakfast, immerse yourself in Cairo’s rich cultural heritage:

• Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM): Located near the Giza pyramids, the new GEM is the world’s largest archaeological museum devoted to a single civilization. Most of its galleries are now open, displaying more than 100,000 artifacts. A towering statue of Ramses II greets visitors in the entrance hall, and the museum is preparing to display all of the treasures from Tutankhamun’s tomb together for the first time.
• Cairo Citadel & Mohamed Ali Mosque: Continue to the Citadel of Salah al‑Din, a medieval fortress that commands panoramic views over Cairo. Within its walls stands the Mosque of Muhammad Ali, known as the Alabaster Mosque, whose gleaming marble panels, large central dome and twin minarets are an icon of Cairo’s skyline.
• Khan Al‑Khalili Bazaar: Wander through the labyrinthine alleys of Khan Al‑Khalili, a bustling bazaar founded in the 14th century. The market’s narrow lanes are perfumed with exotic spices, the air alive with the clink of metalwork and the calls of merchants selling jewelry, textiles and traditional crafts.

Alexandria Day Tour

Travel in a comfortable, air‑conditioned vehicle to the Mediterranean city of Alexandria. Highlights include:

• Catacombs of Kom el Shoqafa: Descend into a multi‑level necropolis carved in the 2nd century CE, where Egyptian, Greek and Roman artistic traditions blend seamlessly.
• Pompey’s Pillar: Marvel at the 25‑meter‑tall red‑granite column raised in the late 3rd century CE to honor the Roman Emperor Diocletian.
• Qaitbay Citadel: Walk along the ramparts of the 15th‑century fortress built on the foundations of the ancient Lighthouse of Alexandria.
• Bibliotheca Alexandrina: End your tour at the modern Library of Alexandria, whose circular design recalls the ancient lighthouse and symbolizes a revival of Alexandria’s historic status as a center of learning.

Fly to Aswan – High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk & Philae Temple

Fly to Aswan and visit the High Dam, a marvel of modern engineering. See the Unfinished Obelisk, offering insight into ancient stone-carving methods. Glide to Agilkia Island to explore the romantic Philae Temple, dedicated to the goddess Isis.

Board your Nile cruise, enjoy lunch and dinner on board, and watch the river’s serene beauty drift by.

Kom Ombo & Edfu Temples
